Storage in your browser

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Websites can also use localStorage, another form of local storage. Privacy rules are not limited to files called cookies.

We store your preference locally under codeprint.privacy.v1: acceptance or rejection, the notice version and the time you chose. It expires after six months. This preference is necessary to respect your choice and is not an advertising identifier. If storage is unavailable, statistics stay off.

Authentication and security

The portal uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session security. The session cookie uses the codeprint prefix (__Secure-codeprint.session_token in production) with a seven-day lifetime. Two-factor verification also uses a temporary authentication challenge cookie lasting up to ten minutes. We do not enable device trust to skip two-factor verification. These cookies are separate from optional statistics and do not require marketing agreement. Rejecting statistics does not prevent sign-in. Deleting session cookies may sign you out.

Public NFC/QR links do not install measurement cookies. Server-side request counters are explained in the privacy policy.

Vercel Web Analytics, only with agreement

We load Vercel Web Analytics only after acceptance, and only on approved public pages. It does not use cookies for visitor statistics, but sends technical information to Vercel, so we provide an explicit choice. This version does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, session replay or advertising cookies.

Form contents, accounts, tokens and URL parameters are not sent as events. The portal, authentication and NFC/QR redirects are excluded. A detailed incoming referrer may cause statistics to stay off for that visit to avoid sending it.

Changing your choice

Open Privacy preferences in the footer to accept or reject. Withdrawing agreement blocks future events and reloads the page to stop analytics code that has already loaded. Withdrawal does not automatically erase data previously sent while your agreement was valid.

You can also delete the preference through your browser settings. We will ask again and statistics will remain off until you choose. Significant changes in purposes or tools require a new choice.
